- 12. Sept 2022 Online Live-Seminar / Webinar
- Number of participants limited / small class
For the design of a high voltage system and its components in the electrified powertrain, knowledge of the processes in the high voltage power net (electrical system / energy distribution) is essential. The participant learns how a variable voltage can be taken into account and what influences dynamic effects have on the design of HV components and HV topologies. The participant will be able to apply tests for the validation of high voltage components based on ISO 21498 to specific issues and will be familiar with various methods for testing the overall network.
The seminar on high-voltage systems (high voltage power net for hybrid and electric vehicles) is intended for employees, professionals and managers, project managers, system architects, component managers, development, test and quality engineers in the field of high-voltage electrical systems and components.
Introduction to the high-voltage system and high-voltage power net:
– Definitions, standards, documents.
Introduction to the dominant components in the high-voltage power net:
– HV battery
– electrical drive system
– HV compressor, HV heater
– DC/DC converter, on-board charger, DC charger
Description of voltage levels:
– operating ranges, operating states
Design-relevant dynamic effects in the high-voltage power net:
– voltage dynamics, voltage variations, voltage slope, voltage ripple
– load dump
– voltage offset
Test and validation of the high voltage power net:
– component testing based on ISO DIS 21498.
– composite testing on the test bench and in vehicle
